Narrative This neighborhood organization experienced difficulty getting their newsletter into the hands of its constituents in a timely manner. Previously, many of the events advertised in the newsletter had already passed when it finally did arrive in mailboxes. The association was unaware of the postal savings that could be had if they bar coded their mail. Also, the high density of addresses on their mailing list meant that they qualified for even steeper discounts. Another source of savings would be simply folding the mailing piece in half, a rather simple design change that could save hundreds more during the course of a year. |
